Dr. Michael DuVall

Dr. DuVall completed dental school at Loma Linda University in 2012. During his years at Loma Linda he was active in community service, student leadership, and mission trips. He was recognized for his academic and clinical achievement through multiple awards and honors. Prior to his graduate studies, he received a Bachelor of Arts at Southern Adventist University. He practiced on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean and Oregon prior to moving to the Chattanooga area.   He is committed to providing exceptional care to all of our patients. Each year, Dr. DuVall completes multiple continuing education courses to stay up-to-date and offer the best dentistry to our patients.

Dr. DuVall has a wonderful wife and two great children. He is excited to be back in the Chattanooga area to enjoy all the great outdoor beauty this region has to offer.

Dr. John Berg

Dr. Berg is a native Chattanoogan who enjoys the outdoor beauty of the East Tennessee landscape. He began his dental career after graduating from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Science in June of 1982. He spent the next 3 years as a dentist for the United States Marine Corps at Camp LeJeune, N.C. He spent an additional 10 years as a reservist for the Corps achieving the Navy Rank of Commander.
Dr. Berg enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and has been practicing in Chattanooga since July of 1985.

He attends many more hours in continuing education than is required by the State of Tennessee. He wants to constantly improve the dental health of all patients.

He enjoys playing golf and hiking with his wife of 29 years, Debbie. They have 3 grown children.

He is a member of The American Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, The Tennessee Dental Association, The Chattanooga Area Dental Society, The Tennessee Valley Dental Study Group and is a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. James R. McPherson

Originally from McMinnville, Tennessee, Dr. McPherson graduated from MTSU and the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences(College of Dentistry). He was on active duty as a dentist in the U.S. Army serving in South Carolina, Germany, Texas and Kentucky. He joined Dr. Berg in private practice in 1994.

He is a member of the American Dental Association,  Chattanooga Area Dental Society, and the Tennessee Valley Dental Study Club. 

Dr. McPherson has been married almost 35 years to his bride, Alice,  and has 3 adult children and 2 young grandsons.

He enjoys working in his garden and amatuer woodworking.  He and his family also enjoy hiking and camping.

Update: Dr. Mac is now retired and enjoying lots of family time with his grandchildren. We thank him for his years of service!
